LWC staff members will answer calls made to 1-866-783-5567 to accept disaster unemployment assistance (DUA) claims from 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. until further notice. Individuals can also file online through the LWC's HiRE (Helping Individuals Reach Employment) portal.

Due to continued severe weather, all displaced Workers’ Compensation recipients receiving indemnity benefits must contact your authorized insurance company to advise them where to send your indemnity check. State officials continue to monitor weather conditions throughout the state and updates will be posted as new information is received.
